Save the Environment We hope you like the moving butterflies, but if you don't then click them and they will go away Sensory garden Our sensory garden is a place to relax on the benches and enjoy the plants that are growing there. We grow lots of different plants all year round. We also put little trees in pots in there. We have a bird's water bowl where the birds can drink from. We have had our sensory garden here for a few years and now it is becoming a popular place. In the past we have had to put a sign up on the door saying; 'Ten people in the sensory garden only at one time'. | | | Here is a picture of our sensory garden. As you can see we plant most of our plants around the sides of the sensory garden. We add rocks to it to make it look more imaginative. | | In the middle of the sensory garden we have a concrete star which has marbles stuck in it. This was a few years ago. We all came out in our classes and lined up to put our marbles in the star. We have been looking after our sensory garden with care and have been tending it regularly. It takes a big part in our environmental education. | |
| Pond area We have a pond area behind the swimming pool. It is a good habitat for lots of different pond insects. We can study wildlife there in our environmental work. | |
| | Playground The playground is a playing area where children can play safely. There is a slide, a bridge, a platform, a rope and a pole. It is a major hit at playtime. We also have a new hedgerow with new trees to encourage creatures to make it their habitat. To the left is a picture of the hedgerow. |
