The Walking Bus The walking bus started around two years ago. It has been a massive success. It has saved a lot of children from traveling in the car. This means fewer journeys, less fuel and less polluting gases. In the picture to the right it shows how the walking bus crosses the road to our school. We have two helpers on either side of us to stop the cars from coming through. |  |
| Last year, Hagbourne school went into a H.O.S.A.S ( Healthy Oxford shire Schools Award Scheme) production to explain about the walking bus. It went very well. There were around seven representatives. We told people about the walking bus's song and other fascinating tales. To the right is a picture of when we signed our sponsorship with ASDA. |  |
| There is now another Walking bus which comes in from a different direction to school. It's not quite as popular as the other one. Here is a picture of the new walking bus. |  |

Cycle Shed A few months ago our new cycle shed was finished. The old cycle shed had turned rusty and grotty, and the bike holders were bent. The new one has bars which you can lean your bike on, and these have been much more successful. To the right is a picture of our cycle shed being opened. |
