• Greek
people don’t usually have much for breakfast.
Grown-ups prefer coffee while children usually drink
milk. They sometimes have cereal or toast as well.
• Lunch
is the largest meal of the day. Greek people like
and eat all kinds of food but they prefer roasted
meat (on condition that it’s well done).
• Children
always have homework to do but the time they spend
on it varies according to their age, the teacher and
the kind of school they go to. An average pupil of
year 6 in our school spends about two hours a day on
homework.
• A
lot of pupils don’t have much spare time to watch TV
due to homework or extra-school activities they do
in the evening. However we estimate that our pupils
watch TV at least one hour a day on weekdays and
definitely much longer at the weekend.
