The number of cars is HUGE but many people use other types of transport, including public transport such as trains, taxis, buses and planes.
Back to cars, there are MILLIONS of cars you can buy!
Some like fast cars,
And some like boring, basic cars.
Even though cars are popular, there is a downside. They produce greenhouse gasses, which pollute the planet, and our roads are now absolutely packed! That's why people are car sharing and walking to school! Our school has a walking bus, which lots of people take every day. And more cycle paths have been built to encourage people to cycle.
