About This Site

We created this website for all ages and abilities, from starting the piano to the history of music. We wanted to provide an interactive and enjoyable way to learn about music. We thought the best way to do this was to create a website, which supplies the user with new skill and knowledge.
 
We searched the internet and found that there was little information and interactive websites that enabled people to learn music in there own time with out a cost.

We used a digital camera to record our own video's and pictures for this website. We used Fireworks to design the background, layout and created the animated icon animation shop. We used front page to create the majority of the website, but adding in the html where required.  
 
In the future we plan to improve this website by adding more time periods into the history page so the user can find out about more recent composers. We also plan to include more multi-media such as sound, animations, video clips and quiz’s. This will make the website more interactive, especially to the younger generations. We also wish to record each of the instruments so the user is able to hear what each of the instruments sound like. I would also like to expand the theory of music.
