The Orchestra

 The Orchestra Setup:

Below is a typical symphonic orchestral setup. On average a fall symphonic orchestra contains around 75 - 90 players. This may vary, smaller for baroque and classical work, and slightly larger for Romanic, 20th or 21st century work. It may also vary due to the acoustics of the hall or the conductors preferences or even the style of music, but percussion are always seated at the back of the orchestra and the lead player (a violinist) to the left of the conductor.

The orchestra consists on four main sections, he String section, the woodwind section, the brass section and the percussion section.
