Class 5 , at Hagbourne school , light the candles in the hall for assembly every day. But they don't use matches because they are really dangerous and can harm you very easily! They use a special safety lighter.
On Firework night you must be very careful and make sure there is an adult lighting the firework, and remember NEVER LIGHT A FIREWORK BY YOURSELF. ALWAYS ASK AN ADULT.
What we do in an event of a fire!

We take register outside and than wait until it is safe to come back in. |
A fire is dangerous .If it is small remember PASS with your extinguisher.
In your Classroom you will have one of these, they are called fire extinguishers, they put out a fire and are ONLY to be handled by ADULTS! NOT YOU
Every now and again at our school we have a fire drill. This is when the alarm goes off and we walk sensibly out side. Out side the teachers do the register to check everyone is here.
